Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of Project Venus. By creating an account or entering the service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Venus.

2. You must be 18 or older

Venus is strictly for adults aged 18 or older. You may not access the service, create an account, or use another person's account if you are under 18. You must not misrepresent your age. An underage disclosure can trigger a persistent safety restriction that users cannot remove themselves.

3. Venus is artificial intelligence

Venus is an AI-generated character, not a human, therapist, doctor, lawyer, financial adviser, emergency service, or conscious partner. Replies can be inaccurate, inconsistent, or unexpected. Do not rely on Venus for professional decisions or urgent help. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for accurate account information, a secure password, and activity under your account. Do not share, sell, or transfer access. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Mature and intimate content

Mature intimacy is optional, disabled until adult confirmation, and should follow the boundaries you set. You remain responsible for your prompts and conduct. AI responses are fictional and do not create a real-world relationship, obligation, authority, or consent on behalf of any person.

6. Prohibited use

You must not use Venus to create, request, promote, or facilitate:

• sexual content involving minors, people presented as minors, or ambiguous-age characters;
• sexual exploitation, grooming, trafficking, incest involving minors, or non-consensual sexual abuse;
• credible threats, stalking, doxxing, extortion, fraud, malware, or other illegal conduct;
• instructions to harm yourself or another person;
• content that violates another person's privacy, intellectual property, or confidential rights;
• attempts to bypass safety systems, access another account, disrupt the service, or extract protected system information.

7. Your content and feedback

You retain any rights you have in your original inputs. You give Project Venus the limited permission needed to process them, generate replies, store them according to your settings, keep the service safe, and provide features you request. Feedback and training use are governed by separate in-app controls; opting out of training does not prevent essential safety processing.

8. Project ownership

The Venus software, characters, visual design, prompts, branding, and service materials belong to Project Venus or its licensors. These Terms grant you personal, limited, revocable access to the service; they do not transfer ownership.

9. Beta service

Venus is currently a beta. Features may change, break, reset, or become unavailable. We may impose usage limits, suspend accounts that create safety or legal risk, and modify or discontinue the beta. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, or that every response will meet your expectations.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Venus is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties. Project Venus is not responsible for decisions made in reliance on AI output, emotional expectations placed on a fictional companion, or losses caused by misuse, unavailable service, or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Ending access

You may stop using Venus at any time and delete Venus application data through the app. We may restrict or end access for a serious or repeated violation, legal requirement, security threat, or underage use.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the beta develops. Material changes may require renewed acceptance. Questions can be sent to support@venuscompanion.com. Mandatory consumer protections and the laws that apply where you live remain unaffected.
